Beechwood Trails is a Census-designated place with no village government, and it is almost entirely owner-occupied. Only 4% of homes are rented, and the median home dates to 1987 (ACS 2019-23). Large lots mean sheds, detached garages and pole barns, which is where mice and wasps do their work.
Mice, wasps and carpenter bees on Beechwood Trails lots
Houses from 1987 have aging weatherstripping and caulk, but the bigger issue on a large lot is the outbuilding. A shed or pole barn gives mice shelter and stored items to nest in, and from there it is a short run to the house. Wasps and carpenter bees do the same: eaves and unpainted trim on a shed are easier to reach than a house's.
Wood-lot edges and tree cover bring ants and carpenter ants, since dead wood and damp stumps are nesting material. If the problem is in the house, we look at the outbuilding as well, because the source is often out there.

SR 16, SR 310 and about two acres per home
Beechwood Trails is a Census-designated place in Harrison Township, in southwestern Licking County, with Pataskala on its south and west sides. State Route 16 forms the southeast border and runs about 20 miles west-southwest to Columbus and 14 miles east-northeast to Newark. State Route 310 forms the western border, 2 miles north of Pataskala's center and 9 miles south of Johnstown.
The 2020 census counted 3,276 residents and 1,181 housing units across 3.57 square miles. That works out to roughly two acres of land per home, counting roads and open ground. Space like that means detached garages, sheds and wood edges, and those are the buildings mice and wasps reach before the house.
The median age was 45.5, and 73.9% of households were married couples. With homes that mostly belong to their occupants, we plan for the whole property, not only the kitchen, and the commute along SR 16 shapes when people are home to meet us.

Tell us the address and which buildings are involved. Allergies, pets and kids are the first questions, then we inspect and go over the price. What the job costs depends on the pest and how far it has spread. We can sometimes come the same day, schedule permitting.

Pest control in Beechwood Trails: common questions
Do you cover Beechwood Trails north of Pataskala?
Yes. Beechwood Trails is roughly 30 minutes and 19 miles from Dunning Rd, with State Route 16 bordering it on the southeast and SR 310 on the west. Phone with the address and the buildings involved. We can come the same day when the schedule allows, and we will say plainly if a day is full.
Will treating the house stop mice that live in my shed?
Not by itself. If the mice nest in the shed, they will keep coming and going. We look at the outbuilding, the house entry points and the gaps between them, treat where needed and explain what to seal. Mouse control usually involves more than one building on larger lots.
Can you treat wasps on a pole barn or detached garage?
Yes, as long as we can reach it. We treat and remove nests on sheds, pole barns and garages. Keep a safe distance from the nest, and do not block its entrance. Tell us the height and location on the call. For larger structures, we may need a ladder or lift, so we plan that before the visit.
